Jesse was one of three puppy mill pups that came into rescue in June of 2020 in the middle of the pandemic. She and her two sisters were all diagnosed with Parvovirus. Despite costly aggressive treatment to fight this disease, her sisters, Kia and Summer, did not survive.
At 10 weeks old, Jesse weighed only 8 pounds. A typical 12 week old RR weighs 28-31 pounds. After months of love and care, she began to gain weight and grow like a normal puppy. Today she is 16 months old and 62 pounds. And all legs. She is a happy healthy girl who loves to play with her three ridgeback siblings and go on walks. Her family says she is the best puppy ever.
